"Stars die and reborn … They get so hot that the nuclei of the atoms fuse together deep within them to make the oxygen we breathe, the carbon in our muscles, the calcium in our bones, the iron in our blood. All was cooked in the fiery hearts of long vanished stars. … The cosmos is also within us. We’re made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself." - Neil deGrasse Tyson

The very idea that You have to Choose to turn inward *or* to look outward, one or the other, in order to Grow is a misconception. All Paths, when followed long enough, eventually connect - in other words, the Paradox resolves itself: the deeper You travel inside, the more You find the Cosmos, and the further You travel into space, the more You find your Self.

My sister would have been twenty today. As I’ve gotten older, I often think about her. Ponder how differently life would be with her physically around. Sometimes I try to picture what she looks like as well. Just fragments come through. Shortish hair. Giant, warm smile. Large eyes. I wish you were here. Love you Kate.

If you opened up a history book and asked me to point out this nation’s founding fathers, I probably could’t. But if you asked me to point out the founders of Image Comics, that’s a different story.
